    Atmospheric Opacity
    These atmospheric opacities were derived from images of the sun obtained with the Imager for Mars Pathfinder (IMP). The filter set allowed opacities to be obtained at 450, 670, 883, and 989 nm.     The Data Description
    These data are tabulated as simple CVS files with PDS4 XML labels. The data were derived by assuming Beer’s Law and are composed of 2 tables: Total Opacity where Ls, Sol, Dust tau, Rayleigh tau and RMS residuals are tabulated (imp_taum.csv) and Wavelength Dependent Opacity where Ls, Sol. Airmass and opacity at 450, 670, 883 and 989 nm are listed (imp_tau.csv).
